Load a route from this site
Catalogue GPX files require the same site sign-in as downloads. The file is sent to your device and processed in your browser. After signing in, choose a route again and click Load. Route names and regions use their original Hebrew catalogue labels.

How to view a GPX file
- Open your file. Choose a GPX file or drag it into the viewer. On a phone, use the file picker. Or open the site route picker, search by name or region, and load after signing in.
- Explore your route. See the track and distance. Enable the optional map background to see roads and places.
- Check the elevation. Review the profile and recorded climbing totals when elevation data is included.
- Compare and share. Add a second file to compare both routes, then create and review a PNG card for download.
Good to know
What is a GPX file?
GPX (GPS Exchange Format) is an XML file containing geographic points. Tracks describe recorded paths; routes describe planned paths. This viewer supports GPX 1.0 and 1.1 tracks and routes, including separate segments.
Is my GPX file uploaded or saved?
No. The viewer reads the file in your browser and keeps the route in memory while this page is open. Clearing the route or reloading the page removes both files from the viewer. Downloaded images remain on your device until you delete them. The original file on your device is unchanged. Optional map backgrounds request tiles from OpenStreetMap, revealing the viewed area to that provider. Site analytics never receive file names, route names or coordinates from this tool.
Why is elevation missing, or different from my device?
Some files do not contain elevations. Missing or invalid values remain gaps, and climbing totals only use adjacent points with elevation. Recorded ascent and descent are not smoothed, so GPS noise and the export method can change the totals. No external elevation service is used.
Which files can I open?
Open up to two GPX files using separate file pickers. Each file can contain up to 5 MB, 100,000 track or route points and 1,000 segments. At least one track segment or route needs two points. Waypoint-only files, invalid coordinates, malformed XML and XML document type declarations are not supported.
Can I use this for navigation or compare routes?
You can compare two routes on one map and elevation chart. Geographic overlap is an approximate proximity estimate, not a guarantee of a shared trail. A downloadable PNG contains route shapes and statistics; route names are optional. Check the preview before sharing. The viewer does not provide live navigation or check trail access. Check the route and local conditions before heading out. The built-in example is synthetic.
